Ukraine Symposium: Hydrogen Futures – From Vision to Sustainable Value Generation

The high‑level event Ukraine Symposium 2026: Hydrogen Futures – From Vision to Sustainable Value Generation aims to convene key Ukrainian and international stakeholders to discuss the role of green hydrogen and its derivatives in Ukraine’s green recovery, energy transition and EU integration. The Symposium will bring together expertise and perspectives from Germany, the European Union and Ukraine to drive innovations, build alliances, forge new partnerships and foster collaboration on how to move from hydrogen visions to real value chains, jobs and climate impact.
The event will focus on framework conditions and concrete experiences needed to develop credible green hydrogen value chains in and with Ukraine: from fitting strategic approaches, to conducive legal and regulatory provisions, to prioritising high-impact use cases and designing ESG-robust projects, to the skills and just transition needs of regions, and developing green hydrogen and Power-to-X (PtX) concepts which reach final investment decisions (FID).
In cooperation with the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, the symposium seeks to create relevant momentum for the hydrogen /PtX Sector Development of Ukraine.
